Guess the missing letter to complete the word
A word will appear with one letter blanked out. Type the correct letter to fill the gap. No need to press enter -- just type! You will be tested on 10 words per round.
You'll see a common English word with one letter replaced by a blank tile. Your job is to figure out which letter is missing and type it on your keyboard. There's no need to press enter — the game registers your answer the moment you type. Each round has 10 words, and you'll see your score at the end.
On easy mode, words are short and familiar — things like "house," "water," and "happy." The blank is always in the middle of the word, never the first or last letter, so you have context on both sides. Medium and hard modes use longer, less common words where the missing letter could be anywhere.
This game is especially useful if you're learning to spell in English, since many English words have silent letters or unexpected vowel combinations. Seeing a word with one piece missing forces you to think about how it's actually spelled rather than just recognizing its shape.
