Check if a word is valid in Scrabble, calculate its point value, or find the highest-scoring words from your available letters.
Two tools in one. The Word Checker tells you whether a word is valid in Scrabble and shows its point value with a letter-by-letter breakdown. The Word Finder takes the letters on your rack and shows every word you can make, sorted by score — highest first.
Standard tile values: common letters like E, A, I, O, N, R, S, T are worth 1 point each. It scales up from there — D and G score 2, B/C/M/P score 3, and so on, up to Q and Z at 10 points. The Finder factors all of this in, so you don't have to do the math yourself.
