Match each word to its correct definition
A word will appear and you pick the correct definition from four choices. Choose a difficulty level and press start. 10 questions per round.
A word appears at the top of the screen along with four possible definitions. Only one is correct — tap or click the one you think matches. After each answer, the game shows you whether you were right and highlights the correct definition in green, so you learn even when you guess wrong.
Easy mode sticks to everyday words that most beginners would encounter in basic conversation — animals, food, family, common actions. The definitions are written in simple language. Medium and hard modes pull from a larger vocabulary where the definitions are closer in meaning to each other, making it trickier to pick the right one.
Word Match works well as a quick daily exercise. Ten questions take about two minutes, and because the words are randomized each time, you won't get the same set twice. It's a low-pressure way to pick up new words or reinforce ones you've seen before.
