The number 10¹⁰⁰, or ten to the power of a hundred.
The word "googol" was coined in 1920 by nine-year-old Milton Sirotta to describe the number 10 raised to the 100th power. His uncle, mathematician Edward Kasner, later popularized the term when he published it in his 1940 book Mathematics and the Imagination.
